| Listen Up Sluts! March 26th. Okay..here goes. SO.. We've been practicin' it up and have a few solid songs that we're planning on recording in the very near future, and atleast a few more idea's for possible songs, so things are looking good. No promise's, but hopefully by the end of the week we'll have two songs recorded and shortly after that if I can get some help from the computer genius friends we have then maybe we can get them up here on mp3 or somethin. who knows. The basic jist of the songs we have written so far sound-wise is..well...one is like a melodic/hardcore-ish song i guess...and another is a ska/systemofadown-ish song i guess...they're both fun. Right now it's still just Sean, Tom, JL and I..and that's actually pretty good for now, because we don't have have any 2nd guitar parts written in our songs for anyone to even play yet...so it's all good right now. chollaaaa! More Breaking News: I'll be leaving on April 2nd with Leftover Crack for their US/Canada tour, and won't be home until May 26th. woo! that's gonna be so much fun. I can't wait. But at the same time it's kind of setting Grown Men back a little, but really not too much...cause we've only been able to practice once a week anyway, with everyone being in different spots in NJ..so that's like, 8 practices. Plus, everyone else can still practice and write new songs and stuff whenever they want. And then when i get back in May, everyone will be finishing up with school, and we'll be able to write a bunch of new songs, record, and start playing shows which I, for one, am REALLY looking forward to. So yeah...hmm. OH!..and the only other big peice of news iiiiis, I QUIT MY JOB! WOOO! since i'm going away for 2 months, i got to leave that hell hole. yahoo! friday was one of the best days of my life. TALLY HO! -joe |
